About Slugtoe

Hey, I'm Sarah, head slugtoe! I'm a potter , painter, and occasional book-binder, residing and working in Bucks County, PA.

I mainly create functional ceramic pottery, tiles, and mosaics infused with touches of the natural world in earthy colors and botanical imagery.

My process is deeply inspired by the natural places that I’ve traveled to and explored, most directly depicted in my mini oil painting landscapes.

My work spans several mediums, yet carries through a deep consideration for sustainability while maintaining a closed loop waste system throughout my studio practice.

Follow along on Instagram to watch my travels in my (in-process) converted camper van, Virginia, and the art that is born of them!
